The Strampelpeter from Hartmann is a booster pad. It is designed to be worn within other incontinence products. It helps to boost absorbency as it contains the same absorbent material as a nappy. It has no plastic backing so that the urine will gently seep through into the other incontinence product being worn. These are sometimes called diaper doublers.
