MoliCare® Premium Soft is Changing It's Naming Scheme and Package Design

Posted by Will 01/07/2016 4 Comment(s) News,

Hartmann are changing the naming scheme, packaging and appearance of their MoliCare® Premium Soft range of all-in-one pads (nappies).

The changes are to better match the absorbency levels that other manufacturers use, to add a new droplet absorbency rating system (that is compatible with other brands) and to update the packaging with more modern designs.

The MoliCare® Soft Premium All-in-Ones (nappies) design is not changing, they will have the same absorbency levels, soft cover and premium leakage protection features that they have always had, but the backsheet will be different. At the moment these nappies are white with coloured stripes to indicate the absorbency level. The new design uses the same colour codes but is more obviously labelled with the size and absorbency level.

The packaging will still have the same colour coding to indicate absorbency levels but will have a much more up to date look. The packaging will also feature the new absorbency level names and new droplet system.

The absorbency level names and droplet system should be equivalent to the SCA (TENA) range of products.

We have just received our first shipment of the new style products today and will start shipping these products in place of the old designs right away.

If you have received an order and it doesn't look like what you normally order, this is because you have received the new product with new name and packaging. You should still find that the shape, absorbency level and size are exactly the same, it's just the packaging, names and backsheet design that has changed.

We will ship both the old and new type as we work through our stocks of the old design.

What's Changing?

MoliCare® Premium will change in the following ways:

  • Packaging
  • Absorbency Droplet Indicator (moving to 10 drop system)
  • Backing print of Nappies
  • Names of Absorbency Levels

What's Staying The Same?

MoliCare® Premium is not changing in the following ways:

  • Product design (cut, fit, size, features of nappy)
  • Colour Coding System (colour codes will match old absorbency levels)
  • Absorbency - The product absorbency will not change, only the name
  • PRICE - The price is staying the same

Left: Old Design - Right: New Design

If you have any questions about the changes please call us, we would be more than happy to help.

What's going to happen to the Molicare Comfort line. Are they keeping them?

Hi Stuart Thank you for commenting. The MoliCare Comfort line will be cut I'm afraid. If this is a product you use we do still everything in stock at the moment so please order as soon as you can. There are a lot of changes to the Hartmann product lines and I haven't finished writing blog posts about all of them, but the old style MoliCare Super Plus is back and it's called MoliCare Maxi - We have this in stock right now (click Adult Nappies) at the top of the page and choose MoliCare Maxi. In our blog home page page you should see an article about that. If you have any other questions about the changes please let us know!

Hi, Would there be any chance of getting a sample nappy to try on my daughter who is 6 years old weighing 28kg?

Hi Sarah Yes of course, we have sent you an email. For other readers, a child that is 6 years old and 28Kg would fit Abena Abri Form Junior XS2, MoliCare Premium Extra Plus XS or MoliCare Maxi Small. Thanks for commenting! Will

Hi Jade No problem, as that's only 20Kg you may be better of with something from our Bambo Nature range of baby nappies, I think size 6 should fit nicely, please copy and paste this to your address bar: https://www.everynappy.co.uk/bambo-nature-nappies/bambo-nature-nappies-size-6 If you find that size 6 isn't big enough then size 7 would be the next step: https://www.everynappy.co.uk/childrens-incontinence-products/libero-size-7-nappies We would be happy to send a sample, we have sent you an email. Thank you for commenting! Will
