MoliCare Maxi is the new name for the old Plastic Backed MoliCare Super Plus

It's been big week for Hartmann. Aside from changing the naming convention used by their Soft Premium range of adult nappies, they are also reintroducing the extremely popular Plastic Backed MoliCare Super Plus - Except that now it's called MoliCare Maxi Slip.

The MoliCare® Super Plus was always a good seller for us, many customers were devastated when Hartmann changed the design to a soft textile backed one. There are a lot of people that prefer the plastic backed version.

We have heard a lot of reasons from people why they preferred the old plastic style such as:

• Better leg shape
• Plastic cover is more comfortable
• Fewer leaks
• Better odour control
• Autism spectrum disorder where the user is sensitive to touch
• Feel more secure
• Doesn't stretch

The list can go on and on and I'm sure you might have your own reasons to add to the list.

After the introduction of the new style textile backed MoliCare Super Plus we spoke to Hartmann to present the views of our customers, and it looks like they listened!

We are very pleased to say that they have reinvented the product but with a new name, it will now be called MoliCare Maxi Slip.

What's The Difference Between MoliCare Super Plus and MoliCare Maxi?

We had a root through our samples room and were able to find some old purple plastic backed MoliCare Super Plus, and compared them to the new products we have just received.

What Stays The Same?

We compared them side by side and went through all the features. Here is what's the same:

• Inner leak guards
• Shape
• Padding
• Plastic cover
• Tapes
• Capacity

Basically almost everything

What's Different:

• Colour
• Tapes no longer have MoliCare written on them

The old super plus was a rather alarming purple colour. The new one is a bright eggshell blue colour. That's it, that's the only difference.
